Case Study: UScellular Future of Good

Client Goals:

UScellular aimed to develop a fully integrated campaign to serve as a top funnel brand act which drives awareness, brand sentiment, impressions, engagements and action; elevating and humanizing the brand to create love for UScellular.

UScellular awards young trailblazers with $10,000 to invest in charitable efforts in their communities, because they’re our communities too through the Future of Good..

Our Role:

Lindsey was the Lead Producer for the campaign, working as part of the Intersport production team and alongside the marketing team. She managed the nomination and selection process with the UScellular client. Once the Future of Good Winner selections were made, she handled all pre-production including coordinating with the Winners’ families and production crew, produced and directed the shoots, and directed the edits of each winner story.

vonProductions helped UScellular accomplish their goals by showing consumers UScellular’s commitment to making a difference in local communities. We did this by leveraging a multi-channel approach that kept storytelling at the heart of everything we did. These stories created relevance and deeper connection in local communities. They inspired engagement and allowed us to show up in a consistent, meaningful way.

Our Unique Approach:

The Future of Good content created a deeper emotional connection to UScellular and was authentic and relevant in local communities. We looked to keep the content focused by amplifying the young heroes and their causes to show customers how we are involved in their local community, beyond donations, highlighting tangible acts of good.

We also created content for the various phases of the campaign leveraging existing content from previous years’ Young Heroes, including coming up with a new where are they now series to check in with past recipients of the Future of Good.
